Terms and Conditions

By registering for the Green Media Summit (the “Summit”), you are agreeing to these terms, which form a legal agreement (“Agreement”) between the undersigned attendee or participant (herein, “Attendee” or “you” or “your”) and Sharethrough Inc. and its subsidiaries or affiliates (“Sharethrough” “we” or “our”). If you are registering on behalf of another individual, it is your responsibility to ensure that the person attending is aware of these terms and accepts them. By completing the registration you are warranting that the attendee is aware and has accepted these terms.

The  registration only entitles admittance to the Summit. Any and all other costs associated with attendance (including without limitation, any travel and/or accommodation expenses) shall be borne by you and Sharethrough shall have no liability for such costs.

Summit Changes

Sharethrough reserves the right to make changes to conference sessions including but not limited to changes to speakers, names, themes, content, performers, hosts, moderators, date(s), time, prices or venue. We endeavour to notify you of any changes as soon as practicable.  

Attendance and Conduct of Attendees

You are required to hold a valid ticket to attend the Summit. You acknowledge that Sharethrough reserves the right to request your removal from the Summit in such instances that Sharethrough, in its sole discretion, considers your presence and/or behavior to create a disruption or hinder the Summit and/or the enjoyment of the Summit by other attendees or speakers.   

Registration Cancellation and Substitution Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing at hello@greenmediasummit.com, at least fourteen (14) calendar days before the beginning of the Summit. Cancellations received less than fourteen (14) calendar days in advance of the Summit will be liable for the full registration fee.  NO SHOWS: The registration fee will not be refunded to those who do not attend the Summit.   TICKET TRANSFERS: Transferring of tickets received in writing will be accepted at any time at hello@greenmediasummit.com. COVID-19: If you can no longer attend the Summit due to a positive Covid-19 test or a change in your local government policy due to Covid-19, you are able to transfer your registration to a substitute or if not possible, write to us for reimbursement.  OUT OF POCKET EXPENSES: Cancellation of travel reservations and hotel reservations are the exclusive responsibility of the registrant.  

Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in and to the Summit, the content and all materials distributed at or in connection with the Summit are owned by Sharethrough or the sponsors, as applicable.  Sharethrough trademarks, logos, and service marks and those trademarks, logos, and service marks licensed to Sharethrough (collectively, the “Trademarks“) displayed at the Summit,are registered and unregistered marks of Sharethrough or their respective owner(s). Nothing contained on the Summit materials should be construed as granting, by implication, estoppel, or otherwise, any license or right to use any Trademark displayed at the Summit without the written permission of Sharethrough or such third party that may own other trademarks displayed at the Summit. The absence of a product or service name or logo anywhere in the text of the materials delivered at the Summit does not constitute a waiver of any trademark or other intellectual property rights concerning that name or logo.  

Use of Summit Content

You will not reproduce or record any written materials, meetings, video, or other materials provided by Sharethrough or any speaker during the Summit, including but not limited to images, audio, text and video clips, in their entirety and distribute them in any form, without Sharethrough’s prior written consent. You will not use the name, trademark, logo, or other property of Sharethrough or any speaker’s biographical information, including but not limited to, their name, likeness, or logo in connection with the Summit without Sharethrough’s prior written consent. You will not create audio or video recordings of Summit presentation, in whole or in part, given by Sharethrough or any speaker (the “Presentation Recordings”), or simultaneously broadcast or live-stream the Presentation Recordings, or post the Presentation Recordings on any website, without the prior written consent of Sharethrough.  

Photography and Videos

Sharethrough will take photographs, video material, or other media (“Media”) at the Summit and reproduce them in educational, news or promotional material, whether in print, electronic or other media, including event websites. By participating in this Summit, you grant us the right to use the photographs and video footage for such purposes. All photos and videos become the property of Sharethrough. These may be displayed, broadcasted, distributed or used by Sharethrough for any purpose, in perpetuity, without any further approval from you or any payment made to you for the use of such Media. This includes, but is not limited to, the right to edit such Media, the right to use the Media alone or together with other information and the right to allow others to use and/or disseminate the Media.  

Data Policy

By registering for the Summit, you agree that Sharethrough will use your personal data/personal information (as defined by applicable law) (“Data”) to fulfil our contractual obligation towards you under this Agreement. This may include, in some cases, sharing your Data with third parties or using your Data for the specific reason of enabling delivery of our services to you. If this is the first time you are registering for a conference with us, your details will be held on our internal database for this purpose and we may use, disclose, or otherwise process your Data for internal business or external marketing purposes in accordance with this section and our data practices. If you have an existing relationship with us, you can access your profile information at any time via our website to update your marketing preferences or to unsubscribe or you can also contact us through Contact Information.  By consenting to this Agreement, you agree that Sharethrough may use your personal data for internal business purposes, marketing, and including sharing your Data (such as name and job title) and contact information (such as email address, postal address and phone number) pre and post Summit with our sponsors or third parties.  Non-identifiable registration data (such as company name and country) may be shared pre and post Summit with our sponsors. If you object to this data sharing, please notify us by email at hello@greenmediasummit.com. WARRANTIES AND LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

SHARETHROUGH GIVES NO REPRESENTATIONS OR WARRANTIES OF ANY ASPECT OF THE SUMMIT OR ANY MATERIALS RELATED THERETO OR OFFERED AT THE SUMMIT AND, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT POSSIBLE UNDER THE LAWS GOVERNING THIS AGREEMENT, DISCLAIMS ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, TIMELINESS, OR MERCHANTABILITY. SHARETHROUGH DOES NOT ACCEPT ANY RESPONSIBILITY OR LIABILITY FOR RELIANCE BY YOU OR ANY PERSON ON ANY ASPECT OF THE SUMMIT AND/OR ANY INFORMATION PROVIDED AT THE SUMMIT. OTHER THAN TO THE EXTENT REQUIRED AS A MATTER OF LAW, SHARETHROUGH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL COSTS, DAMAGES OR LOSSES ARISING DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY FROM THE SUMMIT OR OTHER ASPECT RELATED THERETO OR IN CONNECTION WITH THIS AGREEMENT.  THE MAXIMUM AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF SHARETHROUGH FOR ANY CLAIM IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THEREWITH OR THIS AGREEMENT WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT OR OTHERWISE (INCLUDING ANY NEGLIGENT ACT OR OMISSION) WILL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO SHARETHROUGH UNDER THIS AGREEMENT.  SHARETHROUGH WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES DUE TO TECHNICAL MALFUNCTIONS THAT MAY OCCUR. WE BEAR NO RESPONSIBILITY IF IT IS NECESSARY TO CANCEL, MODIFY OR POSTPONE THE SUMMIT DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE, PANDEMIC, ACT OF GOD, OR WHEN A SITUATION ARISES WHICH, ACCORDING TO SHARETHROUGH, MAY POSE A THREAT TO OUR ATTENDEES. IF THE SUMMIT IS RESCHEDULED, WE WILL AUTOMATICALLY ASSIGN YOUR PARTICIPATION TO THE NEW EVENT DATE. IN THE EVENT OF A RESCHEDULING OF THE SUMMIT, SHARETHROUGH IS NOT LIABLE FOR ANY FURTHER COSTS INCURRED BY OUR ATTENDEES IN CONNECTION WITH THEIR ATTENDANCE, SUCH AS, BUT NOT LIMITED TO TRAVEL AND ACCOMMODATION COSTS.  

Governing Law and Jurisdiction

This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of New York and the parties shall submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New York courts. ion you are warranting that you have made the attendee aware of these terms and that they have accepted these terms.  Your registration entitles you to admittance to the Summit. Any and all other costs associated with your attendance (including without limitation, any travel and/or accommodation expenses) shall be borne by you and Sharethrough shall have no liability for such costs).
